The first photo is pretty scary......, but I hope you see that there has been some changes..... The second photo is just from front on. Here you clearly see how my nr 2 tooth on my right is shorter because it has not been on the wire before now. But I am looking forward to changes now;)

3 rd adj.

Hi!
I had my 3 rd adj. yesterday which was pretty eventfull. I had my archwire changed to a cobberwire (I think she called it), and my nr 2 tooth which was not attached to the archwire is now connected with some elastic. Anyway my teeth hurt like h......... today!!! I hope I will see some movement on that nr 2 tooth on the right side now that it is connected....
My extractiongap on the left side is closing nicely, but the extractiongap on my right is not closing ....yet.... Now she has put on a stronger wire, lacebacks and so on, she hopes it will move nicely... So do I.
Otherwise I am doing fine, and do not even think about my lingual braces any more, or my extractiongaps;)
Well, I do have some photos from today. The last photos on this blog are from over two months ago, so I hope you see some difference!!!

Just a little photo from the front view to see the changes from my first photo. I do see som change;))))

Hi!
I have had two extractions 1 month ago, which makes me smile a little bit less. But I do notice a difference and my teeth are certainly changing. This photo is from today, 2 months and 1 week into my treatment. You can see that on my left second tooth the wire has fallen off the bracket. I am going to the ortho tomorrow to get it fixed.
Otherwise everything is going really well! Maybe I will get a minor adj. tomorrow when I go in to fix the archwire? That would be good;)

A little info about me

Hi!

I am a 26 year old female, and have always hated the way my teeth changed after having braces as a child. In all photoes of me smiling I have only found one where I smile face on to the camera. 99% of the photoes are taken from my left side, which make my teeth look pretty good. Any way, here is a pic I found from march 2005.

Then after alot of tossing the question around, I decided to get braces. I chose upper linguals and ceramic lowers. I got upper braces 24 th of October 2006, and had my first adj. 4 th of December. So I have had them for about 7 weeks. I have seen a lot of minor changes, and will load up more pictures as soon as I get a wire I am missing for my camera.

I look at this photo and I am so glad I have chose to do something about my smile!
